Cinema Operations Manager (m/f/d)
Passion for film meets technical expertise
To strengthen our team, we are seeking a dedicated Cinema Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our cinema. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for film and art, a service-oriented mindset and a genuine interest in cinema technology.
Your Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for daily cinema operations
- Operation and monitoring of modern digital projection systems (DCP, servers, and audio systems)
- Ensuring smooth and reliable screening operations
- Coordination of staff schedules and operational workflows
- Supporting the planning and delivery of special events, premieres, and film-related events
- Maintenance and oversight of technical equipment in cooperation with external service providers
- Collaboration with national cinema and cultural organizations
- Quality management and continuous improvement of the cinema experience
Your Profile
- Enthusiasm for cinema, film, art and event technology
- Basic technical understanding (digital projection, audio or network technology is an advantage)
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset
- Leadership ability and a collaborative team approach
- Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or outside standard office hours (not common)
